About

Adding value to the work already being done.

Do Good Foundation is a small nonprofit working across southern states to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem — through convenings, connections, and storytelling.

The Foundation

The Do Good Foundation is committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem across southern states. We fundamentally believe that entrepreneurship, while intensely rewarding, can be a lonely journey — and it's a journey best traveled together.

We bring founders, investors, and key resources together because sustained growth requires more than just capital. It requires community, platforms, and a shared vision. We execute this mission by focusing on three vital areas: convenings, connections, and storytelling.

A nonprofit engine for entrepreneurs and the people behind them.

Convenings

Gatherings where entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem builders show up in the same room — and leave with relationships that didn't exist before.

Connections

Listening for what founders are actually stuck on, and making the introduction that unsticks them.

Storytelling

Documenting the work — the founders building real businesses, the support orgs doing the unglamorous work, and the wins that get lost without a record.

The Founder

Ryan Jones. One person, for now.

Ryan Jones founded Do Good Brands in 2021 — a for-profit consultancy supporting consumable brands, nonprofits, and entrepreneurship programs. He has 10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, and operations — across healthcare, beverage, food production, retail, consulting, and nonprofits.

His work in the entrepreneurial ecosystem started in Appalachia, where he served as Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SOAR (Shaping Our Appalachian Region) in eastern Kentucky. There, he saw firsthand what happens when founders are brought together with the right resources — and the gaps in the system when they aren't.

In 2022, he developed the concept for CreatorCon under Do Good Brands. The first conference launched in 2023, and it has grown every year since — through 2024 and 2025 — proving the model of bringing the ecosystem together at scale.

In 2025, he formalized the work as the Do Good Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem across southern states. The Foundation now hosts CreatorCon, Cocktails with Creators, and other gatherings — with infrastructure built for corporate sponsorship, grant funding, and the scale this work deserves.

Ryan also owns Lincoln Road Roastery & Coffee Lounge, is a home brewer, and continues to run Do Good Brands alongside the Foundation.
